Entry-Level Certification Engineer - Collins

In this job, you will perform various engineering tasks to support the certification efforts of commercial aircraft interior products.Certification Engineer job duties include:* Perform standard engineering tasks related to stress analysis and deflection* Review engineering drawings and bill of materials* Develop certification test plans and reports to demonstrate compliance to defined requirements* Compile FAA certification documentation for submission* Support meetings with various engineering teams as part of a broad certification effortQualifications:* Microsoft office proficiency * Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.* Effective verbal and written communication skills* Ability to identify and understand failure modes of systems* Legal authorization to work in the US requiredDesired but not required skills:* FAA/EASA certification experience* Familiarity with FEA modeling and data reviewWe provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $64,480 - $68,640 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
