The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is currently seeking an Inspector to join our Construction Management 2 South Queens Section 2.The successful candidate will report to an Engineer-In-Charge and/or Resident Engineer and conduct technical inspections of construction, repair, and maintenance projects. These projects will involve roadways, sewers, pavements, and sidewalks. Specific responsibilities include assessing the grading, paving, and repaving of streets, connections to house sewers, retaining walls, and the maintenance of water, sewer, and utility manholes.Applicants must be ACI Concrete Field -Testing and OSHA 10-hour Certified or take the first available DDC-offered training session.Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. Requirements

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work; or2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a Master's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering. Experienced (non-manager)
